The result is a patent-pending whisk & internal ridge system works in harmony to deliver unparalleled microfoam texture. Designed in the UK, all in pursuit of the ultimate drinking chocolate.
Nature Inspired - from the Ash wood handle, to the iconic cacao-pod-inspired curves on the body, every part of the new Velvetiser takes inspiration from nature. Why? Because, as Andrew Wicks, the ceramicist we partnered with to shape it, said "it's the best designer there is".
Hot & Cold Drinking Chocolate - At the twist of the dial, you can switch the new Velvetiser between hot and cold settings. On hot mode, the hot chocolate maker heats slowly to 155-158 degrees - the optimum temperature for drinking chocolate. On cold, it cycles through a pulsing mix function to meld our innovative new cold drinking chocolate into milk.

We've worked hard to make your Velvetiser a reliable and durable system, so we are proud to back it with a 24 month warranty. Your warranty is valid automatically from your date of purchase from us.
Shipping & Returns
Standard shipping is free on orders over $60 and priority shipping options are available at checkout.
We will work quickly to ship your order as soon as possible. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with further information, this will typically be within 1 business day.
Delivery times vary depending on your location, but we aim to deliver within 3 days of despatch.
In summer months, we ship all chocolate packages with insulation & ice packs to ensure safe delivery. For some locations, this may mean a surcharge is necessary to ensure it arrives in perfect condition.
It's important that your order is not left out in the heat, so we'll email you to let you know when it's out for delivery - please ensure that it is brought inside as soon as possible on delivery.

Ceramicist Andrew Wicks cast the Velvetiser's striking form to resemble the curves of a cacao pod. Never quite symmetrical, the irregularities reflect the natural world.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I clean the Velvetiser?
Cleaning the Velvetiser is much simpler than you may expect! After the unit has cooled down and been unplugged, remove it from the power base, then:
- Take off the lid and remove the whisk.
- Using warm water, a soft sponge or rag, and a little bit of dish soap, wipe down the inside of the machine, the lid, and the whisk.
- Finally, wipe down the handle with a soft damp cloth.
- Make sure the Velvetiser is dry before putting it away.
How hot does the Velvetiser make hot chocolate?
When set to hot, the All-New Velvetiser heats your drink to 154 - 158 degrees, the perfect temperature to gently melt the chocolate and meld it into milk. It's hot and comforting, but not scalding, so you can enjoy immediately.
If you experienced the Classic model, you'll find the new Velvetiser is marginally hotter.
When set to cold, the milk you add to All-New Velvetiser will stay the same temperature as it was when you add it. Straight from the fridge is best!
What is the capacity of the Velvetiser?
The Velvetiser makes one 8oz serving at a time. That might sound smaller than your latte order, but trust us - it's the perfect size.
With up to 30 different recipes in the library, one at a time means that everyone can enjoy their favorite and at just 2.5 minutes beginning to end, imaking your drinking chocolate becomes a relaxing daily ritual.
Can I use other chocolate in the Velvetiser?
Our hot chocolate flakes are carefully crafted to work optimally with the Velvetiser. Using other chocolate may not work properly and risks damaging the Velvetiser - for this reason it would invalidate your warranty.
What else can I do with my Velvetiser?
Lots! It makes a perfect chocolate sauce to serve with ice cream, a creamy ganache to top a cake with. Use it for a matcha or for silky smooth milk for your latte.
