Delivery times vary depending on your location, but we aim to deliver within 3 days of despatch.
In summer months, we ship all chocolate packages with insulation & ice packs to ensure safe delivery. For some locations, this may mean a surcharge is necessary to ensure it arrives in perfect condition.
It's important that your order is not left out in the heat, so we'll email you to let you know when it's out for delivery - please ensure that it is brought inside as soon as possible on delivery.
If your order arrives in less than perfect condition, please contact our team with images of the damage on usahelp@hotelchocolat.com and we'll be happy to resolve.

My daughters and I love the velvetiser and the chocolates. As for myself I prefer the hot chocolates 70% and 85% and the hot mint chocolate too. I have not tried the cold ones though. BTW, sometimes the velvetiser makes noise while running. I have to turn it off and check the inside. I try to stir the milk and turn it on again. There are times it still makes noise and sometimes it will just go through . Not sure if machine is defective.

I got my hot chocolate maker 2 years ago for Christmas and I love it. My favorite is the classic 70% I do consider it a luxury so I don’t buy it a lot but I manage to make my supply last. It makes th best hot chocolate ever

My husband got me one for my birthday and the classic is definitely one of my favorites so far!
My teenage kids decided the classic 70% coca is still bitter for them. But it's a healthier hot chocolate than the usual powders.
The 70 % has just the right amount of sweetness in my opinion. 50% is too sweet. 85 is not sweet at all so 70 is just right.

I feel it was a good price for a beautiful and high quality piece of kitchen equipment. Was it essential not really but I wanted to treat myself to delicious hot chocolate and so I really love it. The 70% flakes are perfect.
I used to make bean to bar chocolate with single origin criollo beans and this is the best commercial hot chocolate I’ve had. Highly recommend it!
This hot chocolate is tasty and simple to prepare. Heating the mugs prior to pouring the hot chocolate or coffee really helps being able to savor the hot beverage.

I’ve loved the Velvetiser and the hot chocolate since I purchased them. I do cheat and use 2 packs of chocolate for a richer flavor, even though I was told it wasn’t recommended, but I will be purchasing another Velvetiser as a backup. But I haven’t had any issues after over a year of use. Best home hot chocolate by far and I can’t even imagine going back to hot cocoa with water. I have had it, but it is now just chocolate- flavored water compared to the Velvetiser.

Our hot chocolate flakes are carefully crafted to work optimally with the Velvetiser. Using other chocolate may not work properly and risks damaging the Velvetiser - for this reason it would invalidate your warranty.
