Velvetiser Limited Warranty

Hotel Chocolat LLC (US) (“Hotel Chocolat”) warrants to registered end users of the Velvetiser that their Velvetiser product purchased in the United States of America (“Product”) will be free from manufacturing defects for two years from the date of delivery when put to normal use and cared for according to the Product instructions. 

Warranty Registration 

Warranty registration is not required for Product purchases made via HotelChocolat.com. For in-store purchases and gifted Product, the Product end user must register for this warranty by visiting this webpage and filling out the form: https://us.hotelchocolat.com/pages/velvetiser-warranty   

Remedies Under This Warranty: 

Hotel Chocolat will replace a defective Product, or a defective part of a Product, that is covered by this warranty. If the Product that is the subject of the warranty claim is discontinued and thus no longer available, Hotel Chocolat will replace your item with the most comparable item currently manufactured.  

Replacement Products or parts will be guaranteed only for the unexpired portion of the original warranty or six months, whichever is greater. 

This Warranty Does Not Cover: 

Cosmetic damage which does not impair the functionality of the product;  

Accidental damage, such as damage from falls, or improper maintenance; 

Damage from any use that is contrary with the usage instructions, including but not limited to damage from improper cleaning, use with incorrect voltage or current, or use with improper products or components; 

Fire, theft, flood, or other natural disasters; or 

Defects or damage caused by repairs or alterations to the Product made by anyone other than Hotel Chocolat. 

Warranty Claim Process: 
 
Purchasers of Products who wish to make a warranty claim based upon an alleged Product defect should contact Hotel Chocolat at usahelp@hotelchocolat.com. You may be asked to provide/upload photographs of your Product. Depending on the situation, we might ask you to mail your Product to us.

There are no warranties which extend beyond those stated herein. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES THAT MAY BE APPLICABLE TO PRODUCTS, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY. Some States or provinces do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you. 
 
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL HOTEL CHOCOLAT BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES BASED UPON BREACH OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, BREACH OF CONTRACT, OR STRICT LIABILITY. Some States or provinces do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. 
 
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from State to State or jurisdiction to jurisdiction. 

This warranty supersedes any warranty statements that may be printed in product manuals or product packaging.
