Banana Rum Colada

Inspired by the classic piña colada, this creamy cocktail combines banana, coconut and cacao notes for a wonderfully indulgent summer sip. Smooth, refreshing and unexpectedly sophisticated.

Ingredients

8 oz milk of choice
1 sachet Banana Iced Drinking Chocolate
1 oz white rum
Ice

For garnish (optional):
Banana slice
Toasted coconut

Method

  1. Pour the milk into the Velvetiser and add the Banana Iced Drinking Chocolate.
  2. Select the cold setting and allow the Velvetiser to complete its cycle.
  3. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add the white rum.
  4. Pour in the chilled banana chocolate mixture and shake vigorously.
  5. Strain into a tall glass filled with fresh ice.
  6. Garnish with a banana slice or a sprinkle of toasted coconut before serving.
